The city of Porto is a traditional destination of the leading European low-cost airlines

Porto airport is known for its architectural modernity and efficiency of the service, which has enabled it to accumulate annual awards in the categories of medium-sized airports. Located at just 11km from the city center, this equipment is now one of the distinguishing characteristics that has allowed the city to assert itself as an emerging tourist destination in the European scene.

The access from the airport to the city center, home to the Victoria Studios, can be done by metro, with an approximate cost of € 1.85 (one way) and lasting 30 min, alternatively a Taxi can be taken with an approximate cost of € 20.00. Finally, the airport ride to the city center can be done by bus for an average price of € 5.00 (one way).
Coming by Train
If you plan to arrive by train, be aware that the Victoria Studios is located just 500 meters from the main city train station, São Bento station, which as well as having links to the whole country, it is also stated as an architectural icon of the city, known for its unique tiles. The São Bento train station offers connections to major nearby towns such as Braga, Guimarães and Aveiro, and allows connections in fast trains to Coimbra, Lisbon and south of the country.
A connection between Lisbon and Oporto in a fast train can cost you around € 30.00, but if you come with time you can always choose a slower option, at around € 24.00. Anyway, when reserving in advance these prices may be reduced up to 50%. For the most enthusiasts, there are also historic trains running on the banks of the Douro River, across the World Heritage area, also departing from São Bento station.
The Victoria Studios is located at just 300 m distance from the São Bento metro station, belonging to the yellow line of the Metro do Porto. This way you can get to our guest house extremely quickly and easily, avoiding the traffic queues. In fact, the metro is the easiest and fastest way to get around the city, although the whole central area is easily done walking around on foot.
